Branching surveys with answers analyzed
Write a survey, add branching so each person only answers what applies to them, and send it. Synthight analyzes the open-text answers and adds them to your findings.
Overview
Most survey tools are very good at collecting responses and very bad at what happens next. The multiple choice answers become a chart, and the open-text box, where the useful part always is, becomes a column nobody reads past row forty.
Synthight treats a survey as another channel into the same analysis engine. You build the questionnaire, add branching logic so the survey gets shorter for the people answering it, and send it. Closed answers are charted. Open answers are split into findings, classified and clustered exactly like a support ticket.
That means survey results do not live in their own silo. If twelve people describe a billing problem in a survey and forty describe it in tickets, you see fifty-two, not two separate reports that nobody reconciles.
What you get
Branching logic
Route respondents down different paths based on what they answered. Each person sees a shorter, more relevant survey, which is the single biggest driver of completion rate.
The formats you already run
NPS, CSAT, CES, post-purchase and fully custom questionnaires, with the question types you would expect.
Open text, analyzed
Free-text answers are split into findings and classified as issue, friction, opportunity or praise, so the richest part of the survey is the part you actually use.
Counted with your other feedback
Survey findings enter the same topic model as your support conversations, reviews and interviews, and are counted together.
Test before you send
Run the draft through Survey Simulations against synthetic personas to catch leading, confusing or dead-end questions before a real customer sees them.
Targeted with smart lists
Send to a list you described in plain English, for example everyone who mentioned pricing in the last sixty days, instead of blasting your whole base.
How it works
- 01
Write the questions
Build the questionnaire in the editor, mixing scales, choices and open text.
- 02
Add the branches
Set conditions on any answer so respondents skip what does not apply and get asked a follow-up where it matters.
- 03
Send it
Share a link or target a smart list built from your real customer feedback.
- 04
Read the findings
Closed answers appear as distributions. Open answers appear as findings, clustered into the topics you already track.
Built for every team
Product
Ask the follow-up question your customer feedback raised, and get the answer back in the same topic model.
Customer success
Run NPS and CSAT where the comments are analyzed, not just counted, and added to each customer’s history.
Research
Field a properly branched questionnaire without a separate survey tool, a separate export and a separate analysis pass.
Marketing
Run post-purchase surveys and see the themes behind the score, per segment.
Frequently asked questions
Does Synthight support survey branching?
Yes. You can branch on any answer, so respondents skip questions that do not apply and get targeted follow-ups where they do. Shorter, more relevant surveys finish at a much higher rate than long linear ones.
What happens to open-text answers?
They are split into findings, classified as issue, friction, opportunity or praise, and clustered into the same topics as your support conversations and reviews. You get themes with counts instead of a spreadsheet column.
Can I test a survey before sending it to customers?
Yes. Survey Simulations runs your draft against synthetic personas modeled on demographics you set or on your real customers, so you can catch a leading or confusing question before anyone sees it.
Who can I send a survey to?
Anyone with the link, or a smart list you described in plain English, for example customers who raised a billing issue in the last quarter. The list stays live as new feedback comes in.
How do survey results compare with my other channels?
They are counted together. A theme raised in surveys, tickets and reviews rolls up into one topic with every mention counted, rather than three partial views in three tools.
Ready to turn customer feedback into decisions?
Connect your channels, and Synthight gets to work. No migration. No new workflows.
